Ali Baba will supply pizza at the Gate 3 concession and in company suites, and the contract includes concerts and all special events at Memorial Centre. The pizzas will be prepared at Ali Baba's downtown store and delivered to the arena for distribution by Aramark, the foodservices provider at Memorial Centre.
It's the ninth location for the Victoria-based company, which also has stand-alone restaurants at Tuscany Village, Saanich Centre, Millstream Village and the Tsawwassen ferry terminal, and by-the-slice kiosks at the University of Victoria, Royal Roads University and Bear Mountain Arena. The family has also just signed a lease to open in a new mall development in south Duncan.
